Did this week pass quickly or what? Today is the fifth and final day of wedding week. Welcome y'all!
It is also the day when I present the strongest color palette yet for this series. This color scheme is NOT for the shy bride. Nor is it for the bride who needs to poll everyone before committing to a decision.
It is for strictly reserved for the bride with cool confidence (sans arrogance of course). The one who's not afraid to go beyond the traditional wedding colors. THESE colors are for a "Becky wit' da good hair don't care" kinda girl. Ha!
Welcome to Day 4 of Wedding Week! Hope you're enjoying this series 'cause I'm having a blast!
Many of you have probably seen those fancy handwritten mirrors on Pinterest and YouTube "how-to" videos. Truth be told, unless you're a skilled calligraphist or other type of artist, it can be very tricky getting all the letters to line up just so.
Recall that I featured one in the staged wedding reception that I created in my backyard. Today I'm going to show you how to make a handwritten mirrored sign the easy way.
Welcome to Day 2 of J'adore le Décor's Wedding Week!
I hope you enjoyed yesterday's Gold and White Inspiration theme. In case you missed it, you can view the post here.
Today I'm sharing a shamefully easy and cheap, yet very striking DIY. I call it a hanging tree hoop. This piece can be as extravagant or as simple as you'd like. What is even more special about it is that it doubles as wedding decor and as the perfect "photo booth".
Welcome to day one of my first ever Wedding Week!
Although most of my topics cover home and commercial spaces, as the name of this blog clearly states - j'adore le décor. So anything related to design and decorating has a chance to be featured here.
And nothing - nothing excites me more than outfitting a wedding reception venue. This week I plan to share a few DIY projects, budget friendly options, and chic color schemes. All settings have been created with a modest sized outdoor reception in mind. But all ideas can be adapted to fit any venue or budget. So let's jump right in with our first color scheme: Gold and White.
If your schedule is anything like mine, then this Summer and Fall will be jam packed with graduation parties, showers, and weddings. It's only mid-May, and I already have one graduation party and one wedding under my belt. By Fall, I will have attended 5 more parties in each of the categories mentioned. Whoa!
These celebrations are excellent opportunities to share great content with y'all, so I'm definitely not complaining.
Today I'm giving you a recap of some vintage, shabby-chic, southern goodness that I witnessed when I recently attended a wedding in Georgia. If you're planning to be a vintage bride soon, this post is for you!
Welcome to "my place". I'm Ola, a self-confessed décor addict and DIY think-tank. I love working with small spaces. Make yourself comfortable, and feel free to "shop" my ideas.
