When you think about it, every room in our home has a goal or purpose. Within those rooms are other items that serve a more specific goal/purpose. It is the same with our lives:
Writing down your passions and goals in a central location helps you to visualize and harness them in a way that typing alone does not. The Passion Planner helps with the overwhelming task of having one place to store, and organize all of your thoughts. It allows you to take lifelong goals/tasks and break them down in the smaller – attainable ones.
In addition to the traditional monthly calendar layout, each 2-page weekly spread includes a box for: “This Week’s Focus”, “Good Things That Happened, a “Personal To-Do List”, and a “Work To-Do List”. These boxes are also included in the monthly-view pages. There is an inspirational quote for that week, and a special task to keep you forward moving.
The Passion Planner can be ordered in three formats: Dated (2017), Undated for more flexibility, and an Academic planner that runs from August 2016 - August 2017. There are also limited edition covers - which I opted to purchase as a, now, two-time Passion Planner user. So now, what features make the Passion Planner different?
Mind-mapping is a visual form of note taking that starts with a central idea and expands outward into more specific sub-topics. These sub-topics are baby steps that revolve around, and lead to the central idea. Mind-mapping helps you to break bucket-list items into smaller goals so that you can eventually check it off the list and move to the next goal. Passion Prep Routine
This is a routine of setting aside 30 minutes each week, on a Sunday or Monday, to prepare for the week ahead. There are 5 steps to preparing your Weekly Passion Prep Routine. These steps are included in every Passion Planner for easy reference.
Monthly Reflection Section
At the end of each month, there is a Monthly Reflection Page. Here, the user answers questions like:
One last interesting fact about the Passion Planner company is that they offer a FREE PDF version for everyone here. Also, in November 2015 they launched a kick starter program, and became a Get One, Give One Company. This means that for every planner purchased, they give one away to someone in need. That is just AWESOME! You can read more about these efforts here.
So that's my recap of the Passion Planner. Should you decide to purchase one, I'd sure appreciate if you would kindly enter "JadoreLeDecor" in the referral box. Now tell me please, what kind of planner will you be using in 2017?
